How Much Does It Cost to Live Stream an Event?

Your event only happens once. If the stream fails, there’s no second take. Here’s what professional live streaming costs, what you should get for the money, and the questions that separate a reliable production from a risky one.

The short answer

Our live stream crew starts at $350/hr. That includes two camera angles, a camera operator, and a dedicated live-stream director — streaming to any destination you choose. Your total depends on event length, camera count, venue, graphics, and whether the event is hybrid.

What’s included at $350/hr

Two camera angles, so your stream cuts between shots like a broadcast instead of staring at one static frame. A camera operator following the action. And a live-stream director switching cameras, mixing audio, and running graphics in real time — so everything that reaches your audience is intentional.

We stream to any destination: YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Zoom, or your event platform. And we can stream to multiple destinations at the same time, so your audience watches wherever they already are.

What drives the total cost

Event length. A one-hour town hall and a two-day conference are different projects. Crew time is the core of the budget.

Camera count. Two cameras cover most events well. Larger productions add angles for speakers, audience, and stage-wide shots.

Graphics. Lower-thirds, sponsor slides, and branded frames get designed and configured before the event so the stream looks polished from the first second.

Hybrid complexity. Hybrid events are a specialty of ours — in-person and virtual audiences that actually interact, with virtual presenters joining the room on screen and remote guests asking questions. Making that seamless takes more production design than a simple broadcast.

The reliability questions to ask any live stream company

“What happens if the venue internet fails?” We bring a backup internet option that keeps your stream running in HD (720p) even if venue internet goes down — and it works where there’s no venue internet at all, like parades and outdoor events.

“Do we get a recording?” Always. Every event we stream is recorded, and many clients add highlight edits or cut-down videos afterward to keep the content working long after the live moment.

“Who’s actually running the stream?” A dedicated director, start to finish. Camera switching, audio, graphics, and delivery are one person’s whole job during your event.
